High Mileage E90 320d ?
I've got an E90 320d as a company car which is due to be handed back in December.
The car is good condition and I've never had any problems with it - 72,000 miles on the clock as I do a lot of (motorway miles). Obviously its well maintained as the company has paid the bills to date. I'm thinking about buying the car off the company (c.£12-£14k) and keeping my car allowance. I'll then be able to put a few mods on it (bodykit / change the wheels etc) which I couldn't do before. At my current mileage rate I'm doing 25k miles a year so in a few years the car will have 150,000 miles on it. My question is - has anyone got any experience of running a high mileage E90 320d ? Any problems I need to be aware of ? How long will it reasonably last ? I know people say diesels go on forever but I don't see many advertised on Autotrader than have much more than 120k miles.

im no expert , im sure someone else will be able to give you more acurate information but i heard the 2.0d was pretty buletproof, a good reliable unit. If its the same 2.0 as is in the 1.20d then i had 50 000+ miles of trouble free motoring (edit: before it was part exchanged)
hope that helps

Cant see it being an issue. G the injectors tested before you buy etc and the pump
Turbo could fail if your unlucky, but with lots of servicing, (which it has) the turbo could see many more miles. Good luck with your purchase mate (you know the history of the car, so i rekon its a good buy) Carlos
