F10 wheels on X3?

Will the M351 wheels off an F10 fit the X3, their offsets are very similar:

The X3 F25 wheel offset spec for the 9 X 19 inch wheels is 45mm and for the Type 369 staggered set-up is:
8.5JX19 (front) ET = 38
9.5J19 (Rear) ET = 48

The F10 M 351 wheels:
Front alloy wheels: 19x8.5" ET33
Rear alloy wheels: 19x9" ET44

Both have the same bore of 72.4mm

Has anyone tried other F10 wheels on F25?

Yes it will fit, only the rear will sit a little funny. Maybe 10mm spacer should fix it.

We tried to do this with M5 rims on our X3 and the dealer said that the screwholes on the the X3 wouldn't align with the ones on the M5 rim.

This is the rim we looked at

Not true. All our bolt patterns are the same.

Hello Chap,

I am dying to know if you did this in the end, I've been considering exactly the same, and going crazy trying to find someone that's done the same.

Think I might rather go for 8.5's all around with a 10 or 12mm spacer though. I live in the alps so like the idea of being able to rotate my winter tyres especially and get even wear.

Would love, love, love to see some pics of your X3 on 351Ms (will send Swiss chocolate!).

Kind regards

D

I haven't used that particular wheel from the F10 but I can assure you that wheels for the F10 will fit. I researched extensively prior to buying a set of Rohanas from a guy on the F10 forum. I went aftermarket because the offset was more aggressive so it made my fender alignment perfect with no need for spacers.
