A tiny plastic part in the headlight

I posted this on the bimmerfest.com and post here too. Anyone had similar with this?

Only have around 1800 miles and I went dealership because of 2 things.

First, brake pedal squeak noise - it's easy to fix it, but uh-oh it's coming back

Second, a little plastic part in the left side headlight - it's just showed up recently, I think it was hiding somewhere in headlight when I bought the car and now move it everyday. SA said that they can't do anything about it since the headlight is working properly. I thought I could get a new headlight for the replacement

I think I have to live long time with it.....

Call BMW N.A. and get the dealer to replace the headlight. That's BS in my book.

Maybe you could pull the low-beam bulb and stick a shop-vac hose up to the back side of the opening and vacuum it out. You shouldn't have to deal with this on a new car, but sometimes it's easier to deal with a minor issue yourself.

That was a good idea with the Vacccuum cleaner. Just attach a small diameter flexible plastic tube to the vaccuum cleaner and suck it out after removing the low beam bulb. It is doable. But how did it get in there in the first place? The lights are made by ZKW and did that happen in the factory or afterwards? The colour of the plastic bit looks very similar to the head light eye lids. Could it be a "teardrop"? (just kidding)

Take it to another dealer that's unacceptable for a new car. They should be replacing the headlight if they can't get of it.
