Window tint
Recently I've done window tint with an experienced car window shop. They are experienced in changing cracked wind shield and other car windows. However, they just start doing window tint in recent couple years. After the installation, I find quite a lot of air bubbles on the front windows.
Is it really common for ALL tinting shops in HK?

Jacky, from what I know, potential bubble issues will be mainly on the rear screens where there are heating wires. It should not be happening on the front and the side, if it is a good quality setup. Perhaps you can go back to the shop and see what they can do.
Giskard, hk govt recently (last year) released the regulations on window tinting. I forgot the current percentage shading allowed for each screen/window, can check it on transport department website. ![]()
