BMW doesn't care. They'll just translate this into the price of their cars. So Koreans, expect to pay more.

Seriously. If I had a chance to make a dollar off of BMW I would. Hey aren't there like a billion threads like that claiming lemons and lawsuits from BMW? Don't people want their money from a warranty even if they mod? Hmmm...quick to hate on LG no? Ahh but BMW birthed my first child. I am indefinitely loyal.

These infringements suits are never going away. Nearly every software company out there has a patent on everything. So any slight variation of it is considered grounds for a law suit.

Someone is actually trying to sue on a patent issue regarding the "auto update pop up" that is on our computer screen. Claiming that every company that offered an online update owes him royalties. This includes Microsoft, Apple, Adobe, Etc.

He had a patent that would allow for an online update to software but so did 82,000 other patents all claiming the same thing.

This will end up getting settled out of court as all these cases do.

Sorry if I went off topic

its not BMWs business if LG has an issue with Osrams tech. LG may hav a case against Osram but wat does bmw hav to do with that?
They may win though if they have the courts on their side because they want to protect their national products..

Blocking sales globally, sure, that's bad, but blocking sales in S.Korea? Isn't that a good thing? Afterall, wasn't it in S.Korea that had the first, absolutely gorgeous 1M to crash the day after delivery? Good riddance. lol
