cool pics, Mark. Why is there such a nice resort in the middle of nowhere?

French Lick and West Baden Springs have been around for ages. Big honeymoon destination in this area. If you're into golf or mountain biking or casinos, it's a cool place to go. But it really is out in the boonies, so there's not much else to do once you leave the resort. It's pricey, too. For the same money we could have stayed in a nice hotel on the river in Chicago and had a better choice of dining options.

Need a bigger fence than that to stop him. Great shot, DC.

Thanks Mark.

It took his little buddy around 10-minutes to screw up enough nerve to jump, but he eventually made it. There were two big bucks and it was interesting to see that they waited for their buddy. They're likely all closely related.

Thanks Dave. I have to give props to silver efex pro for making conversions pretty easy.
The Osprey have been very cooperative this year and I have more files than I know what to do with. Looking forward to the upcoming hawk migration starting in mid August too.

I use DxO FilmPack and it's also very easy to use and very flexible, providing a bunch of classic B&W film emulations to use as starting points. I generally pick one that fits the scene and then fine tune Contrast and sometimes play with Filters. Here's one from last winter:

Cool shot. As is your night city shot. Both nicely done.

Nice watch shot, SK. The Nikon 18-200 still beats the pants off any other 18-200 lens.
