New Product Release: Akrapovic Exhaust System in SUS and Titanium

In 1990, Igor Akrapovic found a company that was based on racing and performance for motorcycles. With growing popularity and proven products on all circuits of motorcycle racing, Akrapovic grew from a small workshop to a high tech factory in no time. Currently, they not only fabricate beautiful exhaust in Titanium, but manage 4 different types of business; Motorcycle exhaust, Automobile exhausts, Composite production and a Titanium foundry.

Although, Akrapovic really entered the automobile market in 2008, they made huge leaps in the past 2 years. With victories at the Nurburgring 24hours with Akrpovic clad porsches, they have now expanded the beautiful line up of Titanium exhausts for BMW, Nissan GTR, Corevette, Mini, Audi, VW and many more.

Akrapovic recognizes the need for the more power and less weight. Building Titanium exhausts come easy for them but now they have taken the beautiful design of the Titanium system and has delivered a more budget-friendly Stainless Steel unit. Very interesting to see that the mid-pipe performs a big difference comparing to stocker.

What is the weight of the SUS system?

If possible a table comparing weights of OEM stock, Akr SUS, and Akr Ti would be great, for each of the sections.

Probably the best exhaust on the market (pity no quads yet) but very very pricey as all AKRAS

+1

Weights of Stock vs SUS vs Ti, for both SO and EVO versions.

Also, some sound clips would be great. I've heard the M3 version in person and it sounds great. Very mild at idle/cruise... Only slightly louder than stock. Revving is surprisingly loud though. Not Eisenmann loud, but it opens up nicely.

We have seen our share of the Titanium systems by Akrapovic but this Stainless system that we just got in was a new Shocker!

Construction and welds surpass anything we have seen and the Polished titanium tips are just amazing too look at.

This one belongs to a lucky forum member!

The exhaust is amazing but the packaging is the best we have seen in the aftermarket.

Nice sounding vids! Are they both of the full system, or the slip on version?

It States on their webpage the evo titanium is 14 something kg one third the Oem System, they don΄t quote a weight for the sus system.
If you look at the mustang the ti is 5kg lighter than the sus
