We've featured many PCD delivery journals on our homepage: http://www.bimmerpost.com/?s=pcd

You'll find plenty of info from these features.

I just got back from the Performance Center. I had a good time, I enjoyed all the activities which you can see videos and pictures of if you search. The downside was the drive back was a little long and the cold weather made it worse. I brought snow tire/wheels with me which helped because there was snow that I had to drive through.

Perf center is a amazing place. You get a great experience taking delivery there or even attending a driving school. One of the coolest places I have been!

Def check out the link that Jason posted as well do a quick search, their are TONS of members on this forum who have taking delivery at the performance center, we have 2-3 a month on average and everyone always has positive things to say about the experience

I did the performance deliver when we bought our new x5 and it was a blast. It is free all you have to do is pay to get there and bmw pays for your hotel, dinner and breakfast and lunch the next day.

They picked us up at the airport in a bmw and drove us to the hotel. The hotel was pretty nice and then they had a bus take us from the hotel to the performance center the next morning.

The best thing for me the whole day was the hot lap ride I got in an M5 it was amazing!!! A close second was doing hot laps in a 400HP X5 lol.

The best thing is you can pay to have the car shipped back if you don't want to drive it home. I live in CT so we just made a short vacation out of it and stopped in Baltimore for a couple days.

I would def do this as it is mostly free. There motto is NYC "not your car" so have fun lol

What's the best route for me to take coming from "BMW Performance Center, South Carolina 101, Greer, SC" to "NYC, NY".

according to Google Maps I have following options:

* i95S & i85S
* i81S
* i81S & i77S

give or take similar distance & time travel ...

I want to be able to stop somewhere in the middle for a night and head out for the rest of the way following day...

a friend of mine suggest me to go through Blue Ridge Parkway, is there any other places on the way worth to check out?
