The concept BMWs from the 70s were certainly no more questionable than some of their recent actual production cars. (Like that hideous 2series "Minivan".) I also find it very commendable that the electro car actually looks like a regular BMW and not like a toaster from outer space!

The production cars of the 70's weren't much better. Probably the worst era of automotive history.

Apparently the wind tunnel hadn't been invented yet. No one concept car pictured would be safe over 35 MPH; talk about front end lift!
