Golf tee mod, N55 mids, Downpipes, JB4, Chargepipe, Intercooler, Window tint, Coilovers (I have ST and LOVE them), and lastly wheels and CF exterior pieces.

Definitely get catless downpipes. Pretty sure someone will sell some on here pretty cheap soon. I went with 1 inch lowering springs off eBay for $100. Work great. Slightly stiffer ride but looks and functions great. I don't auto cross the car really at all. I have once or twice. Usually just drag strip.

I'd be careful in replacing the springs with the H&R (or the Eibach's). I did that on a previous BMW, and regretted it - rode like a truck, without improvement in handling. May have been good on the track, but always wanted my OEM springs back. Yours is an M - is that not good enough?

Posted on your wtb post. I went with burger motorsports for my downpipes. Reasonable price and great fit. Love them. Not sure how much that guy wants for his.

all good suggestions. I've improved suspension and got rid of run flats to improve ride and compliance on our often poor quality british roads. Then went to one of Europe's best automotive proving grounds and had one to one tuition from a top performance driving instructor. The car rides like a GT and I now know how to exploit the great performance, that comes as standard.

Nice build. Where did you buy your HPF Exhaust? I can't seem to find it anywhere. Also if you have time, could you make a sound clip of your exhaust setup? Thanks!

Holy sh**... 431whp! was that on 91? probably not! what's the mix you used for the dyno? did you try it at the drag?
Really nice mods on that car Buddy! i might add a little spacer to the front Wheel to get a more agressive look! Keep on good job! |
