X6 M

http://www.leftlanenews.com/bmw-x6-m.html

Am I the only one that would LOVE to have a vehicle that looks just like this but on a 3/4 scale? :-) 3/4 the power would be fine, too. X1 M? I know, it's just a dream...

I saw a vehicle last week on the A3 outside of Nuremburg that looked like an X6 but it was smaller. Is there an X1 due to be launched soon?

What makes the X6 look good is the arched roof line. Unfortunately, that slope in the rear also makes the X6 pretty impractical as a people mover. If you tried to replicate that shape on a smaller platform you'd end up with the world's first 4-door, 2-seat SUV.

The X-1 is out and about being tested, but it's butt-ugly compared to an X6. You may have seen just an X6. From a distance they look smaller than they are.

If it were an X6 they wouldn't have had it camo'ed. It had the pastel looking vinyl pieces on it. I saw the same thing almost a year ago with the new Z4. It was definitely not an X6. I see them everyday and am used to seeing their bulk. I asked a friend who is into their SUV line and he wasn't quite sure either. It would be nice to see the new X3 with those lines. Especially in an M package with the V8 in it.

Update:

It was a new 5 series GT. I just saw a pick of it on edmunds. The ass end gave it away. Mystery solved. I feel better. Wasn't trying to jack the thread. Carry on.
