Thumbs up New E90 335i owner from Japan

Just picked up a slightly used Le Mans Blue 2009 335i MSport a couple of weeks ago. Car is bone stock, with previous owner not bothering selecting a single option. So far the car is amazing. Silky smooth, easy to drive, practical, comfortable, and stupidly fast! I was so impressed that I had to post a review of my own car on the blog that I run: http://t-c-p.blogspot.jp/2014/02/int...ademobile.html

Here are some pictures:

I am hoping I will get to know the good people of the bimmerpost as well as learn more about my car through endless amount of information on this site.

Beautiful car man! I was just in Tokyo last month, really liked how E90s there had no amber reflectors on the fenders or the amber lights inside the housing, euro style.
is that a custom "335" plate? haha

The only "options" that matter are M-Sport and a 6MT.

Welcome, I always admire the Le Mans Blue!

That's good to know! I wasn't aware that there are that many differences in NA and EU E90's! What I found however, is that we lost puddle lights during LCI refresh so they could install narrower door handles...
And yes, we can only express ourselves with numbers here, so I asked for that 335 plate... I mean come one.. I just had to

Interesting fact: 6MT 335i was never available in Japan. Manual is a bit of a drag in Tokyo traffic though.

Yeah, LM Blue is a very rare color in Japan. Dealer said that most sold were 320's. Ideally I wanted a white one, but could not walk past this one. Considering that it had only 18000 km on it and such mint condition, it was a no-brainer.

Thanks! Good to hear that you guys like the color. Fyi, weather-wise Tokyo is best April-May and Sept-Nov. These are the months that I get jealous of my friend's E93! All other months, the metal folding roof is my favorite feature

Do you mind me asking how you are so good at English? haha
I've met native speakers that don't know English as well as you.

Thanks, I am not Japanese, btw... but I am not native English speaker either. I just ended up speaking the language most of my life.

Thanks bro! We should start a Lemans gang here lol
There is definitely a wish list for mods. Gonna start with a drop and I need to get rid of these silly 17's!
So far my two accomplished mods are a tint and unplugged exhaust valve (read about it here). Both done on first day of ownership
