On the website it says cars 1995 and newer, not 1975 as in the OP.

Also, AFAIK, BMWNA is the US (and maybe Mexico), BMW Canada is different. Don't know why they kept the BMWNA name after they created BMW Canada. Egocentric I guess.

Seems to be similar to most situations, Canada is left to fend for itself, but maybe one day in a few months we may see an app.

For people with SOS button with BMW Assist, what's the point of this? I guess as a backup?

Very cool! Registration was very easy on my iPhone.
I have already had to replace the battery in my 09 E92, so this app will come in handy if it ever happens again.

Haven't checked it out yet, but a nice feature would be able to remotely lock the car. I'm sure there are others, wishlist?
