5 steps..Washed..Dried....clay bar...polish and finally wax..

Finally got time to do the 5 step which i do 4 times a year 8 )

It turned out great and took over 5 hours and the wife helped too!

Great day of bbq, swimming in our pool and cleaning the car

Also got the stock rims back on and love em.

Even the horrid Rft's feel much more grounded (no more bobble head)

Enjoy the pics and let me know what you think of the reflection

ps the microfiber towels from detailer's domain were great!!!!

my dog helped too

I'm set to have the exterior cleaned and polished on Friday. Have to call the body shop today. Last Friday when I was washing it I noticed that one of the new rear wheels has a lot more camber than the other. You don't notice it when driving, but it's clearly not correct so that has to be adjusted. I need to ask in the suspension forum what the OEM camber is on a US 135i.

Although white is my favorite color on the 1, unfortunately the hard work of a good detail doesnt show up as much as the darker colors

Agreed. I like the clean look of Apline white. However it just does not 'POP' as much as a darker color when freshly detailed.

Over the weekend I did a simple 2 step treatment on my friends' dark blue Honda civic. It was totally neglected and full of spider webs in the paint. After two steps it was amazing...the color and reflection looked sooo deep and almost all spider webs were gone. Kinda made me a bit jealous. However, she was really liking the transformation!

Looks great! Love a clean AW. It does not "POP" as much, but it looks smooooth.

I just spent a couple of days doing something similar on my AW 128i:

-wash,clay,wash,Z2 + ZFX, Z6 (three coats).
-vaccum, Z9 and Z10 on interior, leather master's on alcantara steering wheel and SSK.

So relaxing

Why did you ditch your custom rims?
Thought they looked pretty sweet.
