Adding Proximity Sensor To Stock Alarm

Hi All,

I would like to know if anyone knows how to add a proximity sensor to my standard alarm. It has 4 wires as its a dual zone but as I under stand it I will only use 3 wires for single zone. If possible is it possible to use the bonnet trigger to trigger the prox sensor or is the only way to wire it in the dome light as I got advised by a fellow forum member?

I want to install it without breaking wires to invalidate the bmw warranty.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I'm doing this to ideally trigger the alarm if anyone comes and looks into the glass, the obd and airbag theft is in my area.

Thanks in advance!
