Ouch, I'm always scared of those things. Post a pic so we can see how severe it is.

Not sure but that looks like it can be repaired by bondo. Repair with bondo and then get an aero lip to cover it up!

the cheapest/best solution is the front lip
http://www.ebay.com/itm/07-08-09-10-...046166&vxp=mtr

ive seen em cheaper, so dont buy from there.

i recently did a repair on an m3 bumper that was cracked, i have some pics (im almost done, just needs the paint). The shop can use this stuff from 3m, or evercoat multifix 2 part epoxy, or plastic weld it together. Then it needs to be painted/cleared. It wont be cheap. And after all that if u tap something when parking it might crack again in the same spot. So you are better off covering it with the lip or get yerself a new bumper, m3 or something nicer.

Those m-tech lips look pretty sweet on the E92 and it's a cheap fix.

Sucks man.
Same thing actually happened to me this week.

I got it worse though. It actually pulled the bumper so much it cracked it near the headlight too.

Looking for a new bumper now :\

Yea thanks.

Oh well, I see it as just a bumper and it'll be nice to get one that's fresh and has no rock chips in it. Luckily nothing else was damaged.

the only issue with the cheaper lips is the fitment isnt perfect, they kinda dont sit very flush on either end. Or at least that's what ive seen from some ebay ones..depends who you buy from, quality varies.

So I have decided for a Spoiler lip to cover up the damage. Got one off eBay, let's see how it goes.

touch paint it, it won't be as noticeable, you can epoxy the crack from behind to glue it, and then use special flexible plastic putty as body filler and sand it down and then use an air brush to paint it, it won't be noticeable unless like 1 ft away, or use the lip that you ordered, but i would still glue the crack from the back just so it doesn't crack anywhere else.

That can be fixed. Then again this would be a good excuse to UPGRADE!

I had that happen to me, and had a shop "fix" it, only to have it crack again in the same spot without hitting anything. I went to autopartswherehouse and got an entire bumper, pre-painted to match the car for around 240.00. The paint quality was perfect, and the car looked as good as new. I highly recommend them.

Lip would be the cheap fix or replacing the bumper the more expensive.
