iPod Feedback

I have an aux jack in my 335i and I plug in an aux cable and I have a lot of feedback on the line. It hisses and just has bad sound quality. I have tried buying new aux cords, but nothing has helped. This seems to only happen with my iPod but not my phone (Android). I do not have a USB port in the car. Does anyone know what this is caused by or how to fix it?
Thanks for the help!
FYI - No iDrive

Try to use the line-out in your iPod, but you have to buy an 30pin to earphone jack cable.
lots of people reported that sound quality of iPod by line-out is much better than by earphone jack.
