Hi,

I'm currently 15 years old and I live in Quebec, Canada. According to the laws here, I'll have my probationary license when I'm 17 and in my last year of high school (grade 11) and that's when I'm allowed driving alone legally.

My dad is planning on purchasing a 2011 335xi Coupe with the M Sports Package and when I'll be able to drive (in 2 years), he'll give the car to me and put it under my name.

The question, if not obvious enough, is how much would it cost per month or per year for car insurance if my dad puts it under his name? Me and my dad would be the only ones in the household.

Thank you in advance,
if the car was paid cash.. you do not even have to get full coverage if you do not want to.. you can always put it under your dad's name, add you as a minor.. this would save a lot of money..
..btw you should be appreciated you can drive such a nice car at such a young age. treat your bmw well. do not abuse it .

I would have killed myself in a 335i at that age. DSC off and right into a tree.
