Post What BMW car would you recommend for a DD?

What car or sav would you all recommend as a daily driver? To take in account, comfort, practicality, mpg (sort of), etc...

Thanks

Depends, depends, depends ... narrow down the question (route details, passengers, cargo involved, etc).

I think I could make a case for every BMW available right now - 128, 328, M3, etc - in some situation.

Fast responses and am sorry that I didn't narrow it down but here it goes:
City driving (daily)
Cargo (weekly grocery runs) and some small boxes
Passengers (mostly alone and maybe 1-2 occasional)

Too big of cars like the 550 are not being contemplated as it comes too close to the not DD.

The diesel family is worth looking into, X5 d but too big for a daily driver, maybe a 330d?

I'm looking for something comfortable yet as least attention getter of bimmers possible and that I don't have to get so mad about if they steal my emblem, tow hook cover, etc...

Does that help?

128i is a great city car. Fun little car (6 cylinder RWD), easy to park in the city, good gas mileage and pretty quiet/comfortable.

Budget?

I really like the e90335i(x if you THINK need it), I've never driven a a 328. Here in the city a torqy comfort sedan like the 335i really shines and doesn't get too much attention. It may feel a little vanilla but very comfortable.

Thanks for the replies and agree that it would have to be without the M package, it can always be debadged as well, problem with the 335d or 335i is that they are obvious what they are. Maybe a 325 or 328.

How about a different brand but still Euro build?

i just drive my e90 m as the DD. weekend cars are in my sig (theyre classics so not so hot for DD).

I agree with the e90 328i. not insanely pricey but can pack 4-5 people in and has a trunk large enough for some luggage or other junk.

Ive seen others in snowy climates be all over an x3, i just cant shake my kind of 'eh' mentality of how it looks.

Thanks all for the replies, looks like the 328i could fill the void, what do you all think about an Audi A4?

cant believe no one asked yet but, where are you located? I would think climate plays a big part in this. To go AWD or not to? To get a car with all seasons? Do you need 4 doors? All valid questions before an answer is given
