E92 - using aggressive tyre/wheel offsets

Hi guys,

New to the site and really could do with some help on this!

I know this subject has been covered in various threads by I'm looking for a definitive answer as to whether the following set up will work for an E92 330D on stock suspension:

Front: Alpina Classic 19x8.5 ET 24 with 245/35/19
Rear: Alpina Classic 19x9.5 ET 30 with 275/30/19

Offsets are aggressive as the wheels have come of an e39. (I have the bore size adapter ring sorted.)

Will I rub on front/rear? Also, what's the possibility I can drop it on this set-up? Trying to avoid rolling or camber adjustments.

I occasionally need to carry passengers as well.

Thanks in advance!

Those offsets will work just fine on your 330d. However, the 275/30 rear tire may require a slight roll/shave in the rear depending on the brand of tire.

Yep, sorry guys, wrong forum, I've reposted on e90 so hopefully will get some responses there.

Thanks Malek - using Falken 452s - from what I've read, they're relatively slim compared to other tyres. I was more concerned about the front - ET 24 seems quite aggressive.

Hi Robmaster,

Did you rub at all? Did you have camber/arch modifications? Also, what suspension were you running? Were you on the same tyre package - 245/275?

On the similar threads I've read, most seem to be running ET 30+ on front to avoid rubbing.

Thanks for your comments so far!

sorry for the late response.

tire was 225/35/19 and 255/30/19. at the front there was no rubbing, no fender or camber mod.

at the rear i had the fenders sligthley rolled and it rub like hell. so for this you need heavy fender mod and some negative camber.
