Question Android Bluetooth Streaming?

I am about to buy a 2011 BMW 135i. It will have navigation and HK sound system. It has Premium Package and Sport Package. I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 and was having issues having it stream music with Bluetooth when I was messing around with the car on the lot. I know that BMW and Android don't play well together, but does anyone know if the Samsung Galaxy S5 works better or not? Are there any adapters or anything to get this to work better? This will be my first 1 Series that is newer. I currently have a 2001 BMW 325i with Avin Avant 2 as a radio and works with no issue.

I will look into that. Thank you. I have somewhat got the Bluetooth to work now, but sound quality seems really reduced compared to USB/CD/Sat Radio.

I can tell you that the sound quality is super, no deference in the quality from a CD in the head unit to this blue tooth unit IMHO.

I am not sure why it decided to randomly work. When I first got the car it would connect via Bluetooth but silent when a song was suppose to be streaming. Next day after restarting the car and my phone, it connected with no issues. I now can stream music using the external device section in the iDrive and selecting the Bluetooth icon. I am not sure why it works now though and haven't had any issues since.

Hm.. Does it interfere with the BT phone/calling protocol? I used a BT/Aux adapter a while back and couldn't use both at the same time without taking a massive hit to the sound quality of the music.
