Very, very nice. Looks so much better than the E91.

beautiful new ride, and congrats, but for me, E91 FTW every day of the week and twice on Sundays. The side profile of the E91 is just so much more aggressive and well proportioned to me. I also like the rear M-Sport treatment on the E91 loads more than the new one.

Kudos to E91 holding up its own. Love the meaner look of F31 lights. Just can't get over the elongated, lowered hood profile, aka pedestrian safety hood.

Agree! Probably just to make it better on the LCI I`d rather have the pipe from my E 91.

Did the rear windows come factory tinted or are they aftermarket tint?

Hello Dave

So far, I like both the color and the car. I am looking forward to testing the car in the winter. The E 91 was a super winter car. -34 degrees and no problem, worked very well.

The windows are factory tinted.

Thanks for posting large, sharp pics.

Mineral grey is the name of that color for your F31, right? It looks very dark in the pics. Is that just the shading?

I was hoping it would be a little lighter like the older wagon in the picture.

(Its all academic right now, since the base f31 isn't even available in the USA. I wonder when spring release will be.)

Thanks,

George

AGF31: Yes it`s mineral grey. It is a lot darker than the space grey on the E 91.

George: I partly agree with you. I think E 91 M sport is very aggresive and does look better in some angels. Also, the E 91 give me more of the "go cart feeling". That said, I would not trade back to the E 91 I am glad theese cars are "brothers" and not competitors

Wow! Really liking the F31. I hear this will hit US dealerships in Spring 2013. Very interested in making this a stablemate for the ///M. Anyone have any idea when US ordering will be available??

Great snaps

The photos are great. Super idea to compare. I do like the F31

I am deciding between Estoril blue and Mineral Grey on the F31. This will be my first BMW.

I quite fancy the coral red leather but I don't think it looks right with the blue?

I would love to see some more of the photos if any available.

I like the mirrors better on the new car. I liked the pre facelift mirrors on the E91 better than the facelift ones.

I found the solution for your single exhaust pipe, not cheap but extremely good looking, and is M performance OEM

Looks good. My car could use one of those I think I have to replace the diffusor as well if I am changing the tail pipe.

Very nice! I've always been a fan of Space grey, but side by side the Mineral Grey looks even better imho. Congrats!

Wow, have ordered exactly the same but on 330d. So glad I chose this combination, looks amazing and 19" alloys go so well with the mineral grey and sun protection glass. Should have mine before Christmas! Thanks for posting, best pics of f31 seen so far.
