I won't even click the video, but I honestly have to say I don't understand why people care so much about sports. I enjoy watching the game, but seriously, can anyone explain the extreme emotional response to a bunch of people playing a game that you aren't in, responsible for etc...? Folks who have lost large wagers are excused

These teams are part of the community. People treat players as family. When they succeed, people are happy. When they loose to bitter rivals, people get upset.

Same way you love you car enough to talk about the same shit over and over. Other people think of it as transportation.

I hate to confront a fellow Michigan fan, but your post is so outrageous that it has me laughing. The Giants are probably one of the most tightly knit teams in the league. All endoctrenated by coach Coughlin. This team is all about hard work.

If you wanna talk about "me-me-me" teams, go look at the Skins or Cowboys. There you will find players out for the money and without loyalty.

I kind of see your point. As an automotive enthusiast, I cheer for my favorite drivers or maybe yell at something stupid that happens, but I don't become obsessively emotional over it, nor do I feel that my world is going to end if my team doesn't win. I think that kind of fanaticism is a colossal waste of energy...

Hence why this video is so funny. A grown man is crying hysterically.

Ha ha, Giants suck. Go Patriots.

Seriously, is this guy for real? If so, this guy needs a serious attitude adjustment. In clinical terms, his problem is overinvesting where he loses all frames of reference as to the importance of the game. I like the guy around 1:30 who yells at him that it's just a game.

My Patriots lost a heartbreaker in Indianapolis last Sunday and I was saddened for about 10 minutes. I slept like a baby that night.
