Wait a second....so based on this option sheet, "connected drive services" includes - Rear View Camera, PDC front and rear, Standard Merino Leather, Heads Up Display, and Sirius all for only $500?
No mention of these options standard with "connected drive" in the order guide.

I'm glad I didn't wait for the M3.
Just curious though, would a 2014 or 2015 M5 depreciate much more % wise after 4 or 5 years than a 2014 or 2015 M3? Looking at Craiglsist ads, a 2009 or 2010 M5 seems to be around the same price as a 2009 or 2010 M3.

I would think the M5 will cost a little more than M3 of the same year, given it's a different class, more powerful and bigger.

I would wait for a couple years to buy that "$100k" M3 at half price.

Today 50k$ is the asking price for 2009-2010 M3 so your wait will be more than a couple of years...

Any chance we'll get the same additional color options in the U.S.? Would love azurite black or moonstone metallic as I had considered doing an individual order for these already!

I believe the four door depreciates much faster than the coupe plus the current M3 coupe is the last production of a M3 coupe so it's holding it's value because it's in collectors realm which should keep the price steady for the next few years.

Not true for the most part. First, E90s had lower MSRPs than E92s to begin with so even with equal depreciation curves, the E90 might appear to have lost more value. Second, there are far fewer E90s around - roughly 5,900 for NA compared to ~16,000 E92s. Finally, compare a 2011 E90 to a comparable '11 E92 and the values are similar.

The E92 M3 is nowhere near in the "collector's realm" at this point. Yes, some people may be stashing them away as the "last M3" but it will be a long time before they become collectible in the sense that they appreciate in value.

Even with the exchange rate, you guys are getting pretty much raped here. Plus, you make much less in Canada, there is simply no economy, no silicon valley or wall street, I dont even know how you make a living! Yet they hit you with these inflated prices? Come on

Even when the Canadian dollar was at par (even higher than the USD at some point) not long ago, we still got raped on car prices.

And we pay way more taxes...

But in return, if you get sick, you don't have to pay a dime. Schooling including university is pretty darn inexpensive. Crime rates are very low. We get more vacation and holidays, we get funny politicians, etc...
