But you need to get the premium package first to be able to get the executive package, so it is $9000/$9500 for the M4/M3 respectively. It's in the fine print .

I actually don't think that is a bad deal though. Full leather is worth $3k alone in my head, just based on the visual appeal. Lots of other tech (LED headlights, etc) and comfort with rear seat heating and sun shades. I will definitely want both packages.

Ah, bummer. I can see build prices escalating quickly towards $90k north of the border with DCT + these two packages. Add CCBs and you are sniffing on $100k, ouch.

Yup. As I stated in my previous post, tick all the boxes and it will go over $100k. M5 territory in terms of price.

Fully loaded with all possible options will be around $110k. Damn that's a lot of money.

A lightly used 991 may be an alternative.

I recently looked at the 911. Started to tick a few of the "mandatory options" (power pack and performance options, not the $950 Porshe logo on the headrest type option) on a 4S and ended up over $165k. That is more than a GT3 .

I'll stick with the M4 .

Funny you mention the GT3. I priced a lightly optioned one an it was about $160k. But the base GT3 at $148,800 is a very tempting option however it is very basic.

This doesn't seem worth it. I might as well just get a slightly used Audi R8 if the price is near $100k.

OK, I specced out an M4 with the same options my E92 has (of which quite a few now standard on the M4), I come up to $82195. Not bad considering my E92 came out to $85900 back in 2008. That's a 4.3% price drop after 6 years, not bad at all.

Have the CAD gained relative value since 2008?

I built my order this AM and it worked out at a list of $93845 which is about $3000 less than my 2011 E92 was and the F82 has a higher equipment level.I am OK with the pricing as it is pretty much what I expected it to be.

I ordered it with the intent of reselling it in the 1st year of ownership and I have found the heavier it is equipped the easier it is to resell in our market here in Toronto.I have a Z06 on order for delivery in 2015 that will be my track car.

78k for M3 with DCT. I wonder what kind of discount can you expect in the first year.

4% off MSRP should be doable

Sure let me know.
But I know in Vancouver no dealer is offering discount. You can get 2% off MSRP if you have been a member of BMW Club for more than one year.
