M5 and M6 sound is amazing. Two of the best sounding cars on the road and can be had for not much money.

The S85 V10 will be an bmw icon for a long time, just by the sound alone.

That sound is way more exotic than the 4.0 NA V8 could ever be.

It'd be about the same if you could fit it. The V8 in the M3 is something like 34lbs lighter than the old cast iron block in the S54.

One thing I love about the S85 is that it is symmetrical. The sound it makes > F430.

I looked at an m5 and m6 last year and was getting wholesale pricing through a buddy of mine, but you just dont feel like youre in a 100K car when you sit in them.
Is that true? I don't understand how this is possible. Its BMW interior.
I don't see any M6 owners in M5board complaining about interior quality.

somebody help me with some real sources.

You wanna buy mine lol?! The interior is pretty nice, leather everywhere you look! It smells good too and the materials feel fantastic. But the interior design is very plain. The sound of this thing is one of the only reasons I'm holding on to it!

What about features/options/amenities? Is there any luxury or comfort to it?

I mean, the seats are adequate, even though they don't have active bolsters. The ride in comfort is nice but the steering gets a little light in comfort. The I Drive is meh, I wish it was the 2009 version. Gas is horrendous and so is oil consumption (I top this thing off every 7000 miles) and SMG is getting slightly annoying. The clutch slips when it's cold and engages very hard. But on the highway, it is a freight train! And oh yeah, it sounds cool

1 liter per 7,000 miles isn't bad at all for oil consumption.

Yeah, I've only topped off this thing twice since I got it lol. But in the long run, it does seem like much compared to other cars.
