What's your handicap?

sorry if this is a classic repost. Big time golfer here.

What's your handicap?

8.2 here. Been playing for 15 years. Not so much the last few, but looking forward to this summer.

I just got a fitted set of Burner 2.0s. They are phenomenal. I have been playing since my Junior year in college. Sooo about 4-5 years maybe? I am a 13.4 Handicap. Really excited for summer too!

i only have 3 handicap with 90 out of 220. Oh wait..that's bowling.

Golf....i haven't been in so long it's probably worse, but i was in a golf league last year and ended with 12 or 13. Honestly my handicap is whatever you'll give me. haha

Did you ever meet a guy named Tommy Balderston? He was a pretty good friend of mine from Boca Raton, FL. He played on the GG tour as well. He used to tell me how brutal the traveling was. Lots of living out of the car.

^^i may have but dont really remember everyone i played early 2000's. the traveling was brutal but i was fortunate that I didn't have to sleep in the car, i was able to make enough to make due with hotel and such.

the fields were just so deep with talent that you had to shoot mid 60's almost every time to make any money. It was crazy. Now that i have my amateur status back its a lot less stressful playing in the local mens club tournaments

Have you played Chambers Bay yet? Fantastic track that I've played a couple times already. Anything else that's great and accessible in your area?

Oh and 7.1.

Same question Ryan.

Any recommendations for great accessible courses from LA to San Diego?

We've got a place at Aviara and I've played Torrey, the Golf Club of California, and Maderas. Anything you can think of that's must play? Thanks!!

Yes! Love that course. I try to play it a couple of times a year. The Home Course near by there is also great. Other favorites around here are private (sahalee, alderra, inglewood).

Im actually Jimmy, Ryan is our sales manager

I just got back from staying at a friends house in Temecula 45min north of SD and played a couple great courses out there. The Journey was sick and also played Red Hawk those were nice.

I have played Torrey a couple times only play north once though south 3 times. I really liked golf club of california as well. played there once. My favorite course however is my current track which is called La Purisima. IMO its the best test of golf i have played anywhere.

Sahalee is a special place. I attended the '98 PGA Championship there. Think they'll let me walk on?....lol.

My sincere apologies Jimmy.

Cool thanks for the tips. I've also played Torrey several times and love it, but also enjoy trying new tracks I've never seen before. Local buddy of mine is a member down at Bear Creek, can't wait to check it out.

i used to play about once or twice a week a couple years ago and my handi was at a 12 (according to the yahoo sports handicap tracker). But the past couple years I've been playing an average of once a month and I'm stuck in the 90s again

I was a 4 in HS but now I don't play as much at all. Still a 9 for playing 1-2 times a month at most.

im currently having a hard time with my swing plane. it's not flat enough according to my friend and it's frustrating. I guess not touching a club in over 2 months has a lot to do with it

No doubt. We have a couple of courses that are 30k+ a year to join and they held our districts and regionals there several times throughout my 4 years(I also caddied out there in my younger days so that might have helped my scores there a little). We also got out of school 5-6 times for 18 hole matches. Unlimited range balls and holes at our home course.
