Here is a crappy video with the windows up, hitting rev limiter in 1st gear, from 10mph to 85 or so.

If you look close you can see people rafting in the river.

I thought a RR's natural habitat was the dealership for repairs?

That apparently used to be the case several years ago. But quality has improved greatly since then.

The same could be said of the earlier 335i's for constant HPFP replacements.

That's pretty sweet. I've always wanted to go back that way with a vehicle like that, maybe someday....

Wtf is this talk about camping equipment? I must have missed something but then again I haven't been around so that's probably why.

The last rover I had dealt with was a ~2007 RR SC. I hope they improved upon them. After a few years it was always in the shop. Lots of stupid electrical issues and air suspension air problems. Depreciation sucked hard on them too

Not yet, but I'm hoping they read this post and throw money at me without me having done anymore than to lift a few fingers to type the past few messages.

That would be ideal.

Just an FYI, those rankings are for vehicles produced between 2011 and 2013. It doesn't even include the most recent offerings from Land Rover because only a minuscule amount of 2013 Range Rovers are on the street, which was the first model year. And the new sport debuted in 2014.

I only put in about 10 min of poking around on JD's site but couldn't find the exact data that was used/collected to make this chart. Only that the "dependability" survey takes into account "202 different problem symptoms across all areas of the vehicle."

Take from that what you want. But i can tell you after a short time associating with LR owners that they bitch about the smallest problems. Hell, i've even taken mine in for what amounts to a non issue. I hear many of them complaining about the rear AC being too loud, a "slight rattle" in the rear passenger door when closing the door, someone actually took their vehicle in because the tires were making too much noise.

But i get it, some people think Range Rovers suck.

Had a little extra time on the way home Friday after work so i stopped and snapped a few pics of the rover while it was fairly clean. Figured reviving this one was better than starting a new one.
