It's getting installed early next week. I'll post some more pics once the process begins.

Sorry but stage 1 does not make 480hp. I had it one on my M3. Stage 2 makes a little bit less than 470.

You can post links as many times as you want, the fact is this kit is overrated. It was nice and all, but the power just wanst what they claim. The best time I could even muster was a 13.35 run. All the power was up top and almost unusable except on the freeway. I have two other friends who both couldnt make more than 470whp with the stage two.

eh perhaps a change in the gearing will put you in the right rpm band when you need to get on it.

Hahah I must have hit a nerve? You can take it personal, but all manufacturers overrate their systems. They always post these optimistic dynos and people like you buy into it. Hook, line and sinker.

The kit does make power. Drew ran 11.58 at 122mph and I believe he has the fastest 60-130mph for all supercharged E46 M3s (8.67secs). Driver definitely makes a difference, but dyno shows the power is there. He put down 500whp with stage 2 on 100oct. He put down 470whp or something like that on 91oct.

Either way, I want the kit.

Id like to see that. Because no way my VF Engineering Stage I SC E46 M3, my friends VF Engineering Stage II SC E46 M3 and another one of my friends VF Engineering Stage II SC E46 M3s all fell that short. All on different dynos I might add. Im not saying 470whp is something to sneeze at. Its a lot of power. But it falls short of what VF Engineering advertises. That is all Im saying.

Hit a nerve? What are you talking about...? Nothing about my reply insisted I took your statement personal.

I was just emphasizing the fact that this kit gives you high end torque.

id go with the active autowerke. its more proven and comes with the intercooler, even if some tests giving VF a good hp advantage
