I like them. And I like them even more because not everyone else likes them.

To those who don't like the newer grills, all I can say is wait until you see the LCI E92 shortly.

I love them because it will make my 07 sedan look better.

The grill is way too big. I dont understand why the 7 series is so large in the front.

anyone else agree?

plz don 't say shit about the new 7- and 5-series. Like I don't give a f-ck about how the 3er will look like.

The new grille is win.

The kidney grills are BMW's marque. However they can under emphasize them or over emphasize them for the upcoming F30 remains to be seen. Either way I am sure it will scream "BMW"

Right, and I mean as long as they start making LED Angel Eyes standard who really cares what the front end looks like?

you guys complain too much. If you dont like a particular car dont buy it. I too think the grill on the 7 is big, but there will always be something on a car that doesnt look right. Thats when you make a decision on what flaw you are willing to accept.

I am sure the 3 series grills wont look like the 5. After the e28 and e30 the designs of all the series became radically different.

You don't undestand wht the nose of a full size car that holds V8 and larger engines and the radiator necessary for that is large? What's there to understand?

As was mentioned TWICE in this thread already, new pedestrian safety regulations REQUIRE a more vertical nose with no bumper protrusion, AND space ABOVE the engine for a crush zone if a pedestrian gets hit and falls onto the hood (with room under the hood to the engine, it can be softer and allow it to soften the impact). It isn't about design, but about how to design around stupid governmental regulations. I think they did a damn good job of designing around the regulations while still keeping the BMW identity.

The commentary here has been stupid. So many people sound like teenagers that don't have a clue.

Speaking of having no clue. You think they are doing this NOW? Like it's a NEW thing? None of the new Mercedes logos are as big as the OLD ones have been.

Let's go back to the '80s:

or '70s

or '60s..

or the '50s, even..
