Thanks for the replies guys. I guess the BMW>Merc>Audi would probably get my car keyed. Back to square 1.
Seriously you would get keyed. Maybe worse if you're in a high school parking lot with a Bimmer. If you don't want that hassle, why don't you just list out your friends names and some sort of symbol to go with their names next to it. Have it drawn/printed at the outer perimeter so that you don't cover it up with your car when you park. Seems like something nice.

I'd leave it blank. Take all of the unnecessary time you'd use brainstorming ideas and painting the damn thing and go volunteer at a local food bank or homeless shelter for a few hours instead.

You Californian's are weird I swear. Painting a parking spot? Do you go to an academy for arts or some crap? I'm in high school too and I wouldn't be caught dead doing that. I even feel embarrassed for the kids that try to win the 'most spirit' contest at my school by decorating their cars.

Sorry for the flame but honestly someone above me was right just ask your friends on Facebook or Twitter

If there was this sort of thing back when I was in high school, I wouldn't have spent much time on it. It would have been covered in oil in a week.

I went to high school in san diego as well (quite some time ago...), and our school did this too. The money collected from parking spot purchases went to senior class activities.

Personally if it were me, I'd do something pretty low-key. Depending on your school you may already be "that spoiled kid with the bmw" don't confirm peoples assumptions.

also, i don't see why everyone's giving the guy shit.

You will look back on this and other posts and wonder to yourself, "Was I really that big of a queer?" Like others have said, I would either leave it blank or paint it in to look like a normal spot and put a blue handicap logo or something humorous. Do not have it relate to BMW because you will look like a prick and as big of a proponent of "do what you want and say what you think because those that matter, don't mind and those that mind, don't matter" high school is a time to keep in the back of your head that people will f**k with your s**t if it pisses them off and it isn't worth it.

Realize that you are as lucky as you are and don't take it for granted. Many kids hardly are lucky enough to have a car that they don't have to pay for themselves, much less a BMW. It is sad to see what teenagers are driving now-a-days and the problem stems from poor parenting. Parents are a) too proud to have their kid drive a piece of shit because they SOMEHOW think it will reflect their financial situation and b) want their kid to "like" them and are too worried about being their childs friend instead of the parent. I was lucky enough to be given a car, period. Was it a 15 year old, beat-up volvo. Yes. Did it hardly work? Maybe. Did I treat my volvo better than most kids treat their bimmers and mercedes? You betcha. I loved that car and drove it past 200k.

end rant/

Well, thanks for the actual responses. I am very well aware of my situation, and do not need all of you to keep restating the fact that I have a German biturbo. I know that I am lucky enough to have it. I can't tell you how much I appreciate everything about it. Every time I get in, I can't believe it's really mine. I understand that the majority of kids my age do not receive a car, especially a Bimmer. I was one of the kids that did. I'm sorry if it upsets you, but that's the way it is. I am not going to reject it for your satisfaction. Regarding the topic, every senior that purchased one is painting his/her spot. I was just looking for some ideas. Thanks
