Z4 Ported Throttle Body

I was looking at the Dinan website and they have a throttle body that is like $800. Do they do anything different to it besides port it make the opening bigger? I have a friend who says he can port and polish it for me, but was wondering if there was anything else that had to be done?
Thanks

Unless your friend has a flow bench, I wouldn't try it.

You have to bevel the port job and make sure that the airflow velocity is still retained. It's real easy to port too large and lose incoming air velocity - something that you don't want to do!
