That's horrible. A shop shouldn't offer the service unless it's done right. Glad I got it done right the first time.

Yeah the rate is going for about 2-3k depending on the shop. Getting it done right by a professional this time. Gotta sport this ghetto look for about 2 weeks till then lol

+10000

this kind of shit pisses me off. Like how can the guy look at it and think, yeah this is a good enough job.

If I was running a business claiming to do this kind of work, I would not have given it back until the job was perfect. I can't stand people that don't take pride in what they do. I guess I just don't understand it. It's like they just don't give a shit.

Dude this has to be the most beautiful e92 I've seen. And sorry to hear about that wrap job :/ but can you tell me if you have the time what exterior mods you have done to this beautiful machine. As soon as I saw it I was in love it looks that good.

He did the best thing and recouped what he could and moved on (pretty sure the shop, especially a new one, isn't interested in refunding the cost of materials and based their refund on at least breaking even).
I would make sure the next shop provided some sort of written guarantee before turning my money over.
I would say this is pretty much wrong. Its a contract $900 for a Vinyl Wrap. He performed an attempt at a vinyl wrap. Given that vinyl wrapping is a cosmetic modification, it would be hard to argue substantial performance of a contract for anything so far short of a professional job. No reasonable person (see rest of thread) would see this as professional. He still owes either performance on the contract (which apparently can't be delivered based on lack of skill), or a refund (+damages) for breach.

If I paid a guy to build me a shed, then come to find out he built it falling apart I would get a full refund. If not I would take him to court, and I am 99% sure I would win.

I paid for a service that was not completed. That is not a completed service. It is a partial, terribly completed service.

holy shit this is the worst thing ive ever seen. whoever wrapped your car must have been using their feet to wrap it... i wrapped my car myself with no prior experience and i had NOTHING like that. my advice to you: go in the shop, hit the owner in the face, take all the vinyl they have and leave. then go home and do it yourself.

Seems more like a DIY project gone wrong. They should have refunded 100% of what you paid plus any damages incurred.
