Changing RTF tyres

I have RTF tyres on my BMW 530d and I´m thinking of exchange them for normal tyres. The noise is really awful and driving comfort seems to be terrible against BMW standards. Do you have any experiences doing that? Does it really help? What about the tyre pressure system? Will they simply deactivate it at the BMW service or will they try to convince me to stay with RTF? Thanks!

Going to regular tires will have no effect on the tire pressure monitoring system. Pressure is pressure regardless of RFT or not. Many folks have ditched the RFT tires for a host of reasons. I have never heard anyone regret it, I will do the same when my tires are due.
