Video of my reflector install

Got my painted reflectors from IND - Andrew was super helpful and they arrived fast - I made a quick slideshow - video of the install - It took 10 minutes per side - Easy, fast, and a world of difference !

Great Job and excellent video! I also got a pair from IND and attempted to install them myself…key word being "attempted"! I used a heat gun on a low setting and tried to warm up the adhesive from the inside of the wheel well and I just could't get the reflector to budge at all…I could feel the bumper flexing and I just got too nervous and gave up. I ended up having the dealer install them when I took my car in for some other work.

So you removed the adhesive from the factory units and didn't use any for the painted reflectors? What keeping them on? Hope?

Replacements come with adhesive already on them. Just peel away the cover, press firmly and don't wash your car for 24-48 hours.

Hmm...I received my IND reflectors last week and didn't notice any adhesive/cover on them. I just looked at them and put it back in the box as I'm still waiting for the car to arrive.

Perhaps I'm not remembering. I'll check again when I get home.

You have to peel back the covering around the reflector. There is adhesive underneath

My bad. Looked at em again, and the peel-off cover is painted as well. Easy not to notice.

I have the painted front reflectors from IND too and they look great. I looked at the rear painted reflectors on their site too but not so sure about that particular mod. I think it would depend a lot on the exterior color as well. I would definitely want to see the same model and color as my car with it first. I am a little more worried about losing the rear reflectors than the front as well.

Just to help those who have the camera's. Here is a picture of the inside fender trim pulled back so you can see the camera. You have to reach over it and under it to get your fingers back there. I also covered my camera with a rag while heating the reflector.
