small DIY/free changes

Does anyone know any cool little DIY mods the 335 has such as the golf tee mod? Its cool just to play around with it and see what can be changed. Preferably something that will not set off warning/service lights.

Thanks!

Free "mods":
Golf tee( kinda useless but its free and cool)
Remove cowl to hear more engine noise.
Unplug the diverter valves and plug holes its a diy blow off valve sound.
Good mods for the money:
Dci about $100 makes a nice sound and increases air flow.
Tune- $700+ best part about the n54 is tuning it! ( no dash lights, clears codes and its proven to be as reliable as stock)
Downpipes- under 400 for vrsf, reduce backprrssure, more sound and power, morr turbo spool!

How do you remove the cowl and unplug the diverter? Do you have a thread for those?

Lastly, where were you able to find a $100 intake?

Thank you for the help!

Check the For Sale section on the Forum and you'll find Intakes under Engine parts. You can find BMS intakes which do the basic job for <$100. You can also opt for higher-end intakes or CAI's such as aFE, Injen, etc.
