AEs as DRLs on '06 pre-LCI with LCI Headlights
I've read many of your coding threads, still I'm a bit confused on which model/year of manufacture you need to do what.
Here's the situation: I upgraded my pre-LCI headlights to LCI headlights with angel eyes (both halogen). I don't have iDrive, but I can set DRL to "on" or "off" in the board computer. Is there anyway (via coding, maybe) to keep the Angel Eyes turned on when the light switch is set to "Auto"? Currently it just keeps the low beams on all the time when DRL is enabled, nothing when it is disabled. My ride is an E90, 2006. Thanks for any info in advance guys, this forum is great! |

I think for what you want you'll need to upgrade to FRM2 or 3. However have a look at your trc file from NCSexpert (or paste it here) and see if you see anything like the following?
The code marked with *** has been changed to enable A/E as DRL for LCI halogen... ***VERHALTEN_DRL_TFL drl_s*** DRL_TFL_MIT_BFD nicht_aktiv DRL_TFL_MIT_NSW nicht_aktiv DRL_TFL_MIT_BLK_V_GED nicht_aktiv ***DRL_TFL_MIT_SML aktiv*** DRL_TFL_MIT_KZL nicht_aktiv DRL_TFL_MIT_RL_BL_2 nicht_aktiv |
