You can try finding a used BMS DP. Or buy a new one from AR (expensive), VRSF (priced similarly to BMS) etc...
I saw that they had some issues with CA but I wouldn't have thought that would effect the whole country lol.

What tune can get rid of the CEL code? Or can it be coded out?

Plan on doing it ASAP! There's some more people around the tri-state with it done too.

BMS stopped selling dp's? I got mine used, but had no idea that they no longer make them.

Any Tune will get rid of it.

I would recommend getting a Tune first before the DP, especially if the CEL bothers you. Plus it's easier to take it on and off for dealership trips.

You can get DP once you get used to the Tune

and on a side note, we go to the same dealership

Have you had any issues with your tune or dp when you bring it in for service at Paul Miller? Do you leave them on or take them off?
I would love to get a tune but that's my main concern

+1

All catless DPs will throw a code.
- If you wanna go catless get a tune to "clear" the codes. JB4 or Cobb should do the trick and they both have a stealth mode if you are worried about your warranty.

- If you just decide you don't want a tune then get a catted DP, the gain in power is not as good as the catless though.

I have the AR Desing 4" catless DP with the BMW PE, couldn't be happier

My 2 cents

Thank you for your input, I'm gonna try to pick up a used JB4 before the rest. Hopefully I can get one at a good price haha, then probably a VSRF downpipe. I'm just worried about the install, hoping to do it myself but it seems like its gonna be a bit of a Pain in the ass lol.

Are you going to tune this car out or just a few mods?

I would do a FBO, the gains are ridiculous!

I've got a vrsf catless and PE and love the exhaust note and power gain when paired with my cobb.

I'm trying to get a used JB4 stage 2 now. I would hope to be FBO some day but power mods are slow to come as I like to do as much DIY as I can and I'm not sure if I'd be able to do many of the power mods myself. So saving up for the mods plus install is going to be slow lol

Well you said that you're always popping into CT, so I'd be glad to help with the JB4 install.

That would be awesome when I get one, I'm trying to message a guy now but hes not getting back to me. I'm even offering $25 more than his asking price if I'm able to pick it up by tomorrow... You would think he would be all over this

No it does not Sir. I've stayed away from cosmetic for right now even though I don't really care for my front bumper. I figure if I'm going to sink money into it then it'll be for performance. The tune will buy me some time hopefully like a month or two (realistically a week or two) and then it's FMIC and DP for me
