Honestly I never liked looking at E9x with matte black grilles. Mine were originally chrome and I had them painted body color - Monaco Blue. Looks very classy and sporty at the same time. I get compliments on it alot. WAAY better than black in my opinion,..unless you have a black car of course.

I have a JB E92. I started out with matte black, but would never switch to gloss. I like the contrast and aggressiveness of the matte.
Gloss just blended into the car too much for my taste.
That being said, I'll be getting gloss black window trim (I don't think it needs to really stand out imo)

Plastidip costs a few bucks, thats matte black.
IMO its only worth buying the gloss black ones.

I think the extra cost of gloss black is worth it. Gloss black looks much cleaner and classier imo.

Hmm yeah i guess however you like is the way to go! But i'm probably gonna go both gloss.
