He was a man among boys, that's all. It's common in college football.

I don't really like any of the teams you mention, but I do know USC isn't "inferior competition". Didn't they go several seasons without a loss?
They were good the first time around. The second time they ran on the coat-tails of the previous team. They didn't play anyone that was really good except ND and they sqeaked by on some lucky calls.

OSU future national champs of 2007. Get used to it.

The best thing about the OSU/Texas game was the bmw335 coupe commercial. Wow, that car is hot...Did anyone see the blue 335 coupe advertisement?

Texas is too young of a team to compete with OSU team this year. That what happen when senior leave and new young players take over. So what is the new ranking as of today?

Yeah good luck with that dropping to #8. You'll have to win out, which will be doubtfull as well as have some luck with a few teams getting upset.

OSU will more than likely be playing ND again this year for the season finale. Unless the ND db's step-up it will be a repeat of last year.

Do you seriously think that Texas is #2...common, whose comes up with these ranking...you have to consider who is coming back from last season. To remain high in the ranking, you really need a veteran quaterback, not a rookie quaterback.

Texas has no chance for national this year (everyone should agreed but I don't understand why they ranked so high in the beginning), but here is still the red river shootout (should still be exciting game).

What's the deal with the neutral field? Why don't they just alternate each year who's field it is at like we do with Pitt and WVU (the Backyard Brawl)?

I know college football is big in your area. Here we are a Steelers town first and foremost.

Sounds like a great excuse to party!

Thanks, that added info helps explain it.

Has it always been that way?
