Remus Quad Exhaust Tips on a PE exhaust E92?

Can I put Remus Quad Exhaust Tips on a PE exhaust for E92? The PE exhaust comes with the stock installment of two separated tips. If I cut the bumper, could I put quad tips on it?

I recently bought a damaged Remus race exhaust in which I needed to buy a new tip. I phoned up Remus in Emeryville and they sold me a tip for $151 shipped to my door. Anything is possible exhaust wise with a little cutting and welding.

He has the PE exhaust which has one outlet while the Remus race have two outlets on each side. How if he going to both tips to one outlet on each muffler?

I think you misunderstood me. I have a 335i coupe, so the exhaust tips are separated. The bumper needs cutting for quad exhausts period, so it's needed for any aftermarket quad exhaust. I do like the PE exhaust sound more than Remus's, but quads look appealing. I was wondering if I could just buy the Remus tips and install them on a PE exhaust. Am I misunderstanding you or did you understand what I meant?

OP answer is NO. What the post above was trying to explain is that the Remus exhaust actually has quad outlets i.e. from each muffler there are two separate pipes, each pipe has its own tip. The BMW PE only has one outlet pipe from the muffler. So you can't fit the Remus tips(unless you wanted to do a whole lot of fabricating). What you should do is find some other tips, that are faux quad, i.e. two tips merge into one pipe then weld them on to the PE muffler. There are a lot of better looking tips than the Remus ones IMO.

A single piece of pipe could be customed and welded to accept TWO remus tips, but would cost a few sheckels to pay your welder fabricator. Maybe get some magnaflow tips, that is what I did on a quad setup on my old B6 Audi A4.

Possibly..but if you want REMUS tips...get a Remus full exhaust or at least the muffler. It's kind of like putting an m3 badge on a 328 or something..(not saying the PE exhaust is bad.its the best but still..its not a Remus exhaust)

Oh okay, I understand now. Thanks a lot Ecsay. Might I ask any suggestions for tips? The "faux quad" ones, btw.

It's the best but it's not a Remus exhaust? Aftermarket is better than OEM performance exhaust? No way man, unless we're talking about Eisenmann Meisterschafts. I have the option to either purchase Remus or Performance. I was leaning towards Remus, unless the PE can have quads. Then, definitely PE.

Where in the post did I say it's better then PE? All I'm saying is don't label your exhaust something it isn't..

I think Remus hugely hurts their market by putting quad tips on the 335 mufflers. They don't need quad tips to make the exhaust work, and many people, including me, have no desire to buy a new bumper or cut up my existing one just to fit quad pipes.

But remus always comes up when people are looking for a quad exhaust system.

They certainly should. Perhaps they feel they'd prefer to be one of one or two for 335 quad exhausts, rather than one of several for standard dual exhausts. In the end, they might have the same quantity of sales, but at a higher price point for dual exhausts, with almost the same cost to make.

I've just successfully countered my own argument.
