EAS Dyno Day 1-18-14 --- N54 Grocery Getter
Decided it was finally time to see what kind of power my daily driver is putting down to the rear wheels. A buddy of mine put me in touch with Drew from Shift Sector who organized a Dyno Day at EAS this past weekend. The event was well run and everybody there was solid.
I snapped a few pics and took some footage of my last run (Map 5), which ended up being my best of the day because I forgot to raise the over boost limit before running Map 7 on the first 2 runs. I daily drive with Map 5 and the limit set at 17.5 psi but since Map 7 targets 19.5 psi, the safety feature kicked in and backed things way off when the threshold is exceeded. Oh well, it was fun and the car feels stronger than ever. The best part about this car is how strong the torque hits at 2700 rpm; just makes the LSD that much more fun! Tune: JB4 G5 Iso with BMS Cobb E85 flash (other mods are listed in my signature) Fuel: E62 (blend 11.2 gal of E85 and 4.9 gal of 91 ACN) calculated here... Air Temp: 85 F Lots of cool cars showed up including a 700 hp Camaro ZL1 and a 700 hp E92 M3.

Good stuff Travis, great meeting you! I really appreciate the kind words and coverage of the EAS Dyno Day. Your car did great and you're a heck of cool guy, hope to see you at another event soon.
I should have another thread up shortly, with results from all the BMW's with pics and vids as well.

Thanks, bro. I'll finish my diffuser one of these days. What's up with your center lock wheels?
Oh, and I need some new wheel lugs... Any recommendations? Quote:
Thanks! The rollers turned out nice. Quote:

Oh stop! Another guy there that day (who didn't forget to remove the over boost limit) dyno'd on Map 7 and put down 468 rwhp. That said, I'm glad I did Dyno with Map 5 since its what I daily drive. im sure he'd smoke me since he's had way more seat time than me, bigger brakes, wider tires and better aero... for now. Quote:

Theyre having a hard time mating the adapters to the face blanks right now because i dont have the adapter blueprint for them to work off of?? seems like theyre making it so complicated and its slowing progress at the moment.
far as lugnuts its up to you!? i only liked my previous ti lugnuts( i sold them due to new cl wheels ) im not really a fan of pro kics r40s or any of those over priced volks 3 piece nuts. Any forged alum nuts tend to fade in color and start to thread sheer over time and they end up looking pretty bad if that matters to you.
