Thanks for the tips. I got the paint protection package from the dealer. They coated it with Xzilon, it feels really smooth and water beads off it. I wonder if I should bother using paint sealant and wax since that is what Xzilon basically is. And I paid for a yearly inspection where they should correct any small imperfections in the paint if they do happen. What do you think?

That's a good idea! I wonder if I can even order the part directly from the BMW dealership here. I did see the kidney grills advertised for $150 somewhere. Maybe I can get the side markers, too.. but I want the LEDs tinted in the side markers. Something like this.
