So did anyone get their ARC-8s delivered yet from the recent Group Buy? Looking forward to seeing some new pics.

I should have mine some time next week.

Got my new set mounted

18" in Anthracite. Running 265 / 235 BFG Comp 2 A/S. Sitting on stock springs.

Had to get them mounted so I could play with them a little before the snow flies.

Getting some minor occasional rubbing. I think it is only the front but I'm not sure. Will have to examine a little closer this week when I take them off to put on my winters.

These tires have really wide shoulder/rim protectors.

WOW mate, that looks stunning!

What tyre's do you run (specs) and do you have spacers mounted up front?
Any other modifications up front or just the M3 LCA's?

BTW: keep making lovely vids on youtube, I like!

@evolution42

Thanks man, I'll always upload footage of any motorsport event I participate in

For the ARC-8's, I am running Nitto NT-01 235/40R18 square with a 3mm spacer up front. Full mod list can be found here http://www.1addicts.com/forums/bpgar...o=view&id=7620

I wish APEX would come out with a high offset 17" rear wheel for these cars. 18" isn't necessary at all, but it's near impossible to find 17x9.5 fitments for these cars.

In my googling I found braid to be a possible alternative to forgestar for custom track wheels with a reasonable price tag. They are not ultralight, but fairly light. Durability probably a strong point.

Thanks, I was on the fence when I saw the ad for this car online but I was sold once I saw it in person.

This is where my setup was rubbing. Ignore the dirt. A lot of new home construction around me and can't avoid it when it rains.

The first two pics show the front. You can see where the tire rubbed the strut tube. I also identified paint wear from rubbing on the inner fender lip. It rubbed at about the last 3/4 inch of lip right where it meets with the bumper.

The third pic shows where the inner rear tire was rubbing the felt liner a little bit.

Might just not worry about the rub on the strut tube. Should just wear off a smidgen of rubber. Will try to roll the little bit of fender with hand tools noting that it is such a small area. For the rear I am considering a 3mm spacer. Should flush it out a little more. I think I have enough room for that.

This is all with stock suspension. Planning on installing Eibachs in the spring and hoping that it doesn't get worse. No issues right now as I am rolling on my winters.

These tires definitely run wide. I chose them because of their ability to handle cooler temps so I can minimize my time on winter wheels but I am now kinda wishing I just went with Michelin PSS.

Yup, same as me, I used a 5mm spacer in the rear. I would remedy the issue ASAP as the the rear wheels will burn through the fuel filler and then you're hosed.

What tire are you running? Was considering only a 3mm spacer as I was concerned about rubbing on fender. Also curious if there was enough hub lip left with spacer to properly connect with bore in wheel.

I'm about to mount my ARC-8 wheels (18x8.5 ET45 & 18x9.5 ET62) with a 225/255 setup and ST XTA coilovers. From what I read, it seems like the people that have issue with rubbing are the ones that went with a 235/265 setup. My question is, with the setup I plan to run, will I need spacers or will I not have rubbing issues when the car is lowered ~1.5"?

I'm on 235/265 Hankook RS3 which run a little bigger and lowered on KW V1. No rubbing at all but I do have m3 control arms. Planning to go with 245/265 PSS this season with Dinan Camber plates

So Apex just switched up the rear offset for the 18x9.5 ARC-8 to 58mm from 62mm. Makes sense to me as I just ordered a set of 5mm spacers to solve my inner fender liner rub.

Here are a couple of newer pics with the car sitting on Eibachs.

I added a set of 5mm spacers in the rear due to inner shroud/ felt liner rub but now I get a minor rub on the actual fender. May get all of the fenders rolled.

So I am running arc 8s 8.5/9.5 with 235/265 front/rear. 95k miles and stock suspension is just about shot so time for full upgrade, m3 bits all around and likely coilover (tckline hopefully) swift springs etc. anyone running such setup, everything right now seems to be real tight so not sure if I am setting myself up for a disaster or not...
