Front Lip Getting Loose

Hello my fellow enthusiasts. This is my first post to this forum as I just purchased my first M3. It is a 2011 Jerez Black E92.

The car has a Front Lip Spoiler that is getting loose. I can see the gap and the tape that was holding it on. See attached photos.

This may be a long shot, but can anyone identify the type of lip and maybe help me narrow it down to the manufacturer? I would like to ask them to address the issue or at least cover the replacement tape and provide suggestions on preventing it going froward.

I bought the car from a dealer, so they do not have any info on the lip.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

I had the same issue as well. You have this with many of the lips. Have you checked to see it is just double sided taped and using the stock bolts? If not I would suggest adding some screws and some of these

Once you put some screws in they will not move

That's an ARKYM lip. Prob wanna look into some self tapping screws into the bottom of your bumper.

Pretty normal because the front of the car sees so much debris. Not much you can do but take it off and maybe see if you use more tape. Also make sure that the lip is actually bolted (hopefully the previous owner wasn't dumb enough to use tape alone)

Screws

I'll definitely add some screws to make it more rigid. Thanks for your direction everyone.

These look like they will do the trick. Can you provide more info so I can purchase them?

Most autoparts stores will carry them. You can use these or self tapping screws.

It probably just needs to be removed and re-installed. It looks like the original owner didn't use enough tape, and the tape may not have adhered properly.

Mine is attached only using tape and stock hardware and doesn't sag. It withstands high speeds and doesn't budge.

Same with mine. Good quality tape and the stock hardware for the bumper attaching the back of the lip to the bumper.

I had a bunch laying around from my old RSX, you can get them from any car part store.
