New 335d Owner
I've been casually browsing for a 335d for a while now. My brother got one about a year ago and I have been a fan ever since. I recently found one with only 7,800 miles on it and I had to jump on it before it was gone. It's a 2011/M-Sport/LeMans Blue Metallic/Harman Kardon Sound/Heated Seats. So far I'm loving the M steering wheel and the incredible torque this car has!

Those heated seats will come in handy in Phoenix. Well, on second thought when you use all that torque to climb those hills to Flagstaff, then those heated seats will come in handy. Anyway, all joking aside, welcome! You may already know this, but the weekend of 9 August there is a BMW gathering near Four Corners at Pagosa Springs. I was going to be the only 335d there, but since I may not be going you may have the carry the flag. 8-)

Congrats!!!!
Your 335d looks stunning! The color combo and M sport package....looks perfect! I too just picked up a 335d this weekend! Finally took delivery of my much anticipated 2010 Space grey with Saddle leather premium pack and sport pack. Love this car, can't get over the torque and how poised this car is. Hope to have it for a long long time! Oh, and thanks to this board...I did the euro fog light hack yesterday! Definitely enjoy being a part of this small but fanatical group! |

So, in the euro fog switch hack, did you just pop out the switch from the front a la the PR method, or did you remove the surrounding panels the way the forum suggests?

I used a panel puller tool and popped the light switch out without removing other surrounding panels. Insert panel puller on the bottom of the switch (left side) pry outward. Insert puller on bottom (right side) pry outward. Then use your fingers and pull it outward. Tilt the switch and angle it out so as to not scrape the upper trim surround. Pop off the harness / backing plate. Take switching to your workbench and use exacto knife to trim the small tabs. Voila - Euro tail light fogs. Mine is a 2010, 11/09 build.
