Ach, you would have just blown it anyway on a new lens or something equally useless.

Glad you're legal now. Have a good trip.

ugh, that sucks Mark. Hopefully there isn't much damage and you have a safe trip.

Actually it's not bad. Just a dented and scratched door. Shit happens. And it's only the Civic. Not going to put a damper on our plans. We just got Thanksgiving dinner reservations at Postrio Bar and Grill right in the hotel mall area, so no driving/navigating/parking and no worries about 2nd or 3rd glasses of wine. Should be a good time.

Enjoy Belize, Chewy. We can compare pics next week.

Continental lost my bag... Of course... Figures.

Nonetheless Belize is awesome so far. I've been clicking away.

Remind me to *never* travel with you, Chewy.

So far, so good with us. Flight to Chicago was good, we got emergency row seats for the Vegas flight, and we just had an oofing big dinner. Now the wait for the flight.

Believe me Mark, I wouldn't want to travel with me either. I just have such bad luck. Oh well... The weather here is awesome. The bugs are ferocious though. How long are you gone for?

Till Friday. The weather is shaping up out there, though. Looking to be mid-60's in Vegas and low 70's in Death valley. Good walking weather and the haze should be minimal.

Made it to Seattle today, was a loooong drive, got stuck in the last set of mountains watching all the transport trucks putting chains on their tires. Took us about 2 hours to go about 10 miles. But I was stuck beside a beautiful lake in a light snow fall, it was gorgeous, saldly I didn't really get any shots of it as I was in traffic. I did snap one with my cheap point and shoot, I'll try to load it up in the next few days, but i seriously doubt the quality of the picture

Keep enjoying your trips Ashew and Mark!

Another great show rodi.

I hate it when I'm caught in traffic and there's an awesome photo op outside. I usually regret taking the highway home for just that reason.

This is part of the view outside our suite. I thought something looked weird about this building.

Then I realized that the building's facade was, well...a facade.

Stop by Glazer's and pick up an Optech rain sleeve, and you should be good.

Are you in Seattle proper, or one of the close by cities?

I'm close to downtown Seattle, been playing in the rain all day... Did the underground city tour out of curiosity.

I'm headed off to BC tomorrow morning, but will be passing back through seattle again in about a week and a half I suspect. Hopefully the weather will be better so i can explore a little more and get some more pictures.

I may look into the sleeve while i'm back in BC, if i don't find it, I'll check it out in Seattle.
