E92-Lighting Smoked Side Markers

I pulled the trigger on these guys a short while back and finally got them installed.

The smoked color is pretty neutral and blends in with Space Grey perfectly. Illumination is amber through what looks like 3x LEDs.

They appear well built and have the foam backing, but the only part that I've got a gripe about is the connector which you'll see below. I would have preferred either the proper connector, or leads that were a little easier to install into the OEM connector. But with a little encouragement via some needle-nose pliers, they were installed and tested in less than five minutes.

Brightness seems acceptable to me during day time, I'll have to check them out tonight and see how they do in the dark.

you should post a link to the E82 version with stock connectors. that would be helpful and save time.

Nice. It's funny how small changes like that can drastically alter the look.

The link at the bottom of my post above fits the E82. I probably should have been more clear on the connector, it's not a direct drop in to the car's wiring harness, but you don't need to do any splicing or soldering. You remove the bulb holder from the OEM marker, and remove the bulb from the socket. The new marker plugs into the bulb socket, and you reconnect the original bulb holder to the harness connector. The video on the product page shows the install procedure.

Definitely bang for your buck.. I bought these a while back for 30$ off ebay. Makes a big difference, also considering my car is black so you no longer have an ugly amber bulb looking like its been misplaced.

the ebay ones dont have a rubber liner so we stopped selling them years ago (water condensation)
