2009 BMW 335d Halo Light Bulb
I have a '09 BMW 335d with the Xenon lights and the passanger inside halo light bulb (angel eyes) died yesterday. The outside halo light is on, but the inside one is dead. Does anyone know the part number for the bulb that I need to replace and a website with instructions on how to replace it. I want to purchase the OEM bulb (not LED) because I don't want to replace all of them, just the one that burned out.
Second question is if I wanted to replace the halo lights (angel eyes) with LED bulbs, which ones should I get so I don't get error codes and should I replace the headlight (low and high beams) with LED as well? |

Hey there. For your car it uses a H8 bulb for the angel eyes. There is no way that the outside halo could be in and not the inside since it uses 1 bulb for both rings. The Xenon projection lighting might still be on and that is what you are seeing.
As for replacements there area number of options. Cheapest would be to replace it with a stock bulb, or some other halogen bulb. We are also located in CT and we offer the LUX H8 V4 LED Angel Eye, which are adjustable color from a natural 5000K white to a cool 12,0000k white. I could also meet up with you if your interested to take a look at them in person. There will be a ton of responses to look at since its one of the more popular topics on this board as well. Let me know if you have any questions as well i can help with.

The only H8 bulb that shows up on this drawing (Xenon Headlights) is # 2. Is this the bulb I need? The descrption has it listed as a FOG LIGHT bulb.
If it's the wrong bulb, could you tell me which bulb (# from picture) I need to buy. H8, 12V, 35W Part #: 07119906503 |

Found out that the H8 bulb I had above is the correct bulb. Ended up ordering 2 bulbs, just incase the driver's side dies in the near future. Probably will upgrade to LED bulbs soon.
H8, 12V, 35W Part #: 07119906503 Thanks |

Yes thats the correct part. Funny the picture shows it as a H11 socket and not an H8. what you ordered is still correct though

Thanks. How much do you charge if I wanted to change all my halo ring lights to LED? I was thinking about the LUX H8 V4 - Color Adjustable Angel Eyes. Would I have easy access to the dip switches to change the color or would I have to remove my front wheel well cover?
