Dealer upgrade for idrive - Help!

I just got a CPO 2010 550i. Which has the new hdd idrive. I just took it in for service on something and they want to charge me 320 to have the system reprogrammed to the "current" versions of everything. Is it worth it? What is my benefit for doing it?

Don\'t pay it\'s a CPO

If its CPO you should not have to pay for anything. It sounds like they are trying to take your money. I just had a my system upgraded at the dealership and mine is an 08 550i still under CPO, never paid a dime! This sounds fishy to me. The cs rep told me they can't charge for software updates if the car is still under factory warranty. The exception would be if you are updating your navigation system to a newer version map that's considered elective and they will charge for that.
